WELCOME Welcome “I Love Snooker” a great site to get all the info on a great sport loved by millions across the globe. This is a fairly new site in which we aim to grow  to become the best on-line community of the snooker world. We’ll be using twitter to get the conversations started on all the latest topics and tournaments. Its an exciting time to be a snooker fan as I sure there will be some thrilling changes to the day to day of World Snooker with the appointment of  Barry Hearn. I’m sure it won’t be long before we’re all sat in the crowd in fancy dress, drinking larger whilst the players enter the venue with the aid of a smoke machine and a rocking theme tune... ...Ok it might not be that radical but who knows what is in store for World Snooker in the next 18 months? The MASTERS 2010 This year's Masters opens with a match-up that could otherwise easily have graced the final, with 2008 champion Mark Selby taking on the player with the best recent form, Ding Junhui. On Sunday the 9th of January the fantastic tournament that is the masters starts! Yes there are larger tournament on the snooker calender but for me it always brings great entertainment and drama for snooker fans around the globe. We all have unforgettable memories of the late legend Paul Hunter, the man know as the Beckham of the baize and in my opinion the one tournament that should always be in tribute to a inspirational player. The three times winner of the competition and only one semi-final appearance breaking up the titles in a great 4 years for Paul Hunter. This year sees the return of Jimmy White after his change of career antics in the Jungle. He’s stated he feels that the experience in Australia has strengthened his chances for the Masters. Lets hope that White can up his game in front of his home crowd to bring back to the player we all love to the stage he deserves! One player that never fails to produce some great entertainment is Mark Selby and being a previous winner of the strophe in 2008 and runner up last year lets hope that he can also put in a top performance this week as I always have a flutter for every tournament on Jester from Leicester. I can never write about snooker without one man cropping up somewhere  and with his current sponsors Premier Inn requesting him to use a purple cue he’ll be as colourful as ever Ronnie O’Sullivan. ‘The Rocket’ is a firm favourite in the Outright Winner market, a 5/2 shot this time around, but despite being the most naturally talented player ever to pick up a cue, he will always give the field a chance, and you do have to go along with the cliché and wonder ‘which Ronnie will turn up’.
